There was a pottery workshop hosted by Caroline Lee at the August Cafe Day with a lot of budding potters creating some clay masterpieces. Caroline will be holding pottery sessions at Thrybergh Country Park on Sunday 17th September, 22nd October and 12th November for anyone wanting to have a try. Thanks to Caroline for giving valuable guidance and inspiring support to those having a go!
There was also a Bug Hunt led by Bill Ely, which was enjoyed by some keen children and enthusiastic parents. Quite a few creatures were found and Bill passed on his extensive knowledge to the intrepid bug hunters. Thanks to Bill for leading the hunt once again.
The Friends Cafe was well supported and once again the weather was really pleasant for visitors to enjoy the lovely surroundings in the Park.
