The Friends have been awarded a grant from the Banks Community Fund towards the creation of a seating area along the Morthen arm of the reservoir. The area will include high quality timber benches and a stone bird table marking the services of Barbara Littlewood as Secretary of the Friends group. The area will be cleared and the benches erected shortly.

Lewis Stokes, development relations coordinater at the Banks Group, visited the Park recently to meet members of the Friends Commitee and see the completed repairs to stone boundary walls in the Park, also funded from the Banks Community Fund.
