The Friends held a very successful Cafe Day on the 13th of September in the newly refurbished Visitors Centre with very pleasant weather and a good attendance . Although there is still be some decorating to finish, the works in the Visitors Centre are substantially complete and the new arrangements with a servery adjacent to the kitchen worked well.

Visitors enjoyed the usual range of homemade refreshments in the new surroundings which received lots of favourable comments. the larger room is certainly brighter and more spacious than before.

Hopefully all the decorating will be finished for next Cafe Day on the 18th of October.
