The award ceremony for the Duke of York’s Community Initiative Award was held at the University of Huddersfield on Wednesday 12th of April. Chair of the Friends of Ulley Country Park, Bobbie Hillman, received the award from the Lord -Lieutenant of South Yorkshire.

There were several organisations from South Yorkshire that also received the award, with 8 from Rotherham!

Vice Chair Dave White, Secretary Paul Nash and founder member Barbara Littlewood also attended the ceremony.
