There was another well attended Cafe Day on Sunday 19th of June with the Plant Stall run by Brian Brookes proving how popular this event has become, once again. There was a large range of plants for sale at very reasonable prices and generous thanks to Brian, Julia Forrest, Frank Faries and Guilthwaite Nursery for donating the plants.

The Cafe was also extremely popular and all the cakes and sandwiches sold out early so the Friends apologise to those people who turned up later on when only drinks were available!

The raffle prizes were won as follows:-  Planted basket – Tony Carter, Gardening equipment – Val Motley, Mugs and Tea toels – Tony Carter ( who donated the prize back), Plant – Anne Cawkwell, Beer and Tankard – Pat Storey, Bottle of Wine – Mrs Windle.

The Friends group would like to thank all the visitors to Ulley Country Park who made the Cafe Day such a success.
