Dave Haswell – a Tribute.

It is with deepest regret that we must report the loss of our Chairman, Dave Haswell. Dave died suddenly, while on holiday with his wife Di, at the end of September. He was 64.

Dave became Chairman of the group in 2008 since when his energy and enthusiasm had been the driving force behind all the good work that the Friends Group had carried out. He was loved and respected by the entire committee, all of whom feel a deep sense of loss. Our thoughts are now with Di and the rest of his family.

The group will, in due course, elect a new Chairman, but we will never replace Dave. Dave was irreplaceable.
