The Friends have erected three poetry posts in the Park containing poems written by local schoolchildren at the Ulley Arts Festival in 2019. Inspired by the Laurie Lee Trail in the Cotswolds the posts have been created by Lorraine Botterill and are an amazing feature for visitors to enjoy. The idea is to read the poem in the post whilst looking at the view through the window. 

Funding for the project has been kindly provided by the Banks Community Fund

One of the poems was written by Millie Oades who was delighted to see her work in one of the posts, as her Mum posted on Twitter!
