One of the Friends Committee spotted a turtle basking in the sunshine on Sunday the 5th of July down the Morthen arm of the reservoir. Sadly, there is no photographic evidence of this rare event but if anyone else spots a turtle, or any other unexpected creature, do please e-mail us and let us know.
