Local choir Encore gave a wonderful performance at the Friends Christmas Cafe Day to brighten up very wintry day at Ulley. The weather may not have been as snowy as forecast, and it certainly affected the attendance, but there was still a great festive atmosphere in the Visitors Centre especially during during the singing. Ironically Encore had performed at Ulley during the summer on what was the hottest day of the year, so it was quite a contrast on Sunday.

 

The Christmas gifts stall proved very popular and although the Cafe closed early due to the lack of visitors in the afternoon thanks are due to all those who braved the elements to support the Friends Cafe. Thanks also to Bernadette Bartholomew and the rest of the Encore choir for their excellent performance.
