The Friends Cafe Day in December went ahead despite the problems with lighting in the Visitors Centre that had caused the cancellation of the cafe in November. The temporary lighting added to the festive atmosphere.  Local band Trinity gave two performances of Christmas carols and the Big Bottle tombola was a great success.

Raffle prizes were won as follows :- Plant basket – Harrison Wood, Tray – Sandria Gilling, Teddy – Maralyn Hughes, Chocolates – C Windle, Wine – Angela Laley, Diary and pen – A Martin, Plant – Helen Thorneloe.

Thanks to all the visitors, volunteer helpers and Trinity for making the cafe such a successful event once again.
