It was a lovely sunny day for the October Cafe Day and that encouraged a large number of visitors to the Park, making for a very successful day as they enjoyed the homemade soup, cakes and refreshments in the Visitors Centre
Local schoolgirl Edie Cartwright had a stall selling her handmade woolly creations to raise money for the National Deaf Children’s Society and collected over £200.
Rotherham Hospice had their Christmas stall selling cards, calendars and gifts, this was also popular with visitors and raised a significant amount for the Hospice.
