Despite some Spring sunshine there was a definite chill in the air for the Bird Watching walk at the Friends Cafe Day. Sue Parker led a hardy group round the Park, spotting many species of birds along the way, before returning to the Visitors Centre for warming drinks and some homemade cakes.

Unfortunately, farmer Roy Nixon did not have any new born lambs available for the Meet the Sheep experience but did bring a couple of last years lambs back to the Park. Several children enjoyed a photo shoot with Casper and Dolly who didn’t mind the cool weather!

The Cafe Day was well attended once again and enjoyed by the many visitors to the Park. Thanks to everyone who made the event so successful, particularly Sue and Roy.
