The Friends have finally completed a project to improve the entrance into the Park by paving the rough path over the by-wash channel. The work was carried out by the Community Payback team who also refurbished the adjacent steps and painted the timber fencing. Thanks to Glyn Staves and his team for all their hard work. The Park entrance now looks a lot better!

The Council have replaced the fire door from the Visitors Centre onto the balcony, which has been in a poor state for some time after being vandalised. Once again this has been a big improvement both in appearance and for the security of the building.
