The Friends held a Working Day on Saturday 18th of July with an enthusiastic group of a dozen helpers carrying out a range of tasks in the Park. In addition to clearing overgrown paths and the picnic area, the terrace at the Visitors Centre was weeded and the picnic benches sanded down and treated.

A few other maintenance tasks were undertaken with guidance from Kevin Burke the Park Manager, who provided equipment and support. It is hoped to repeat the working day sometime in the near future.
